Mit einer großen Faschingsfeier in der Gaststätte "Zur Romantischen Straße" startete die freiwillige Feuerwehr Wörnitz in das neue Jahr 2014. Die Närrinnen und Narren im gut gefüllten, schon Wochen vorher ausgebuchten, Faschingssaal in Mittelstetten erlebten ein buntes, abwechslungsreiches Programm aus Comedy, Tanz und Action.
Nach dem Startschuss pünktlich um 20:11 Uhr brachte Alleinunterhalter "Hofmanns Fritze" den Saal mit rythmischer Tanzmusik auf Temperatur, bevor er mit seiner äußerst gelungenen Büttenrede wiedereinmal für viele Lacher im Publikum sorgte.
Darauf folgte, nach einer weiteren Tanzrunde, einer der Höhepunkte des Abends. Feuerwehr Kommandant Ralf Bitter stellte sich fünf Zuschauer-Kandidaten zum Duell
in der an "Schlag den Raab" angelehnten Show "Schlag den Bitter". Der von Max Teutsch und Manuel Strauß moderierte Programmpunkt wurde vom Publikum mit viel Applaus bedacht und wird wohl noch
eine ganze Weile in den Köpfen der Anwesenden bleiben.
Auch die Feuerwehr-Frauen hatten wieder einen tollen Tanz einstudiert. Als "Happy Feet" zeigten sie eine tadellose Performance inklusive Zugabe. Ebenfalls die Tanzgruppe der Männer überzeugte mit
einer Wikinger-Tanzshow und bestätigte so die Arbeit ihrer Tanzlehrerin und "Feuerwehr-Freundin" Monika Freuling.
Anschließend legte "Hofmanns Fritze" wieder bis weit in die Nacht auf und rundete einen äußerst gelungen Abend ab.
